This is the official, unofficial website of the Sunshine Coast Rayners - Supers & Masters teams. The club is based at the Fisherman's Rd complex in Maroochydore. The competition extends as far abroad as Coolangatta, Hervey Bay and Toowoomba; playing every second Sunday.
Masters AFL is for competitors over 38yrs; Supers for over 33's. The emphasis is on having a great time; win, lose or draw. Phone Jeff Smith (President) on 0419 545 003.

  • 2012 COACHES ANNOUNCED

        24 January, 2012

    The applications have been evaluated and the coaches for the Rayners in 2012 have been selected and appointed. The Supers will be represented by Jason "Gaddo" Gadsden and the Masters have retained the services of Paul "Nigga" Nowlan. Grant "Footy" Foot will take on the role as Over 45's co-ordinator. Congratulations to the new coaching panel.

    The Sunshine Coast Rayners have continued to push the envelope in the Masters Football arena, launching a presence on the social network Facebook. This will enable those "social networking addicts" to stay in touch and spread the word easier!!!

  • CANCELLATION

    The Xmas BBQ at the spit has been cancelled due to inclement weather and numerous other factors including other christmas parties that are taking place at this time of year. Stay tuned to the website on news for training / pre season training and more in the new year!

  • COACHING JUNIORS

    The Maroochy Roos Juniors are looking for coaches for season 2012. The Junior Roo's will put any person who takes a coaching job though a coaching accreditation course at no cost. If you are interested in helping out, please contact the Juniors President, Tony Kennedy on 0408 456 449.

  • RAYNERS HI-ALTITUDE TRAINING CAMP

        21 November, 2011

    The inaugural Hi-Altitude Training Camp was held in Toowoomba over the weekend with many of the boys suffering from what could only be described as light headiness (possibly from the thinner air). No injuries to report, apart from the odd headache and sleep depravation, with all attending claiming it a tremendous success!

    The AGM has been and gone and the 2012 Committee appointed (check out the minutes in the Newsroom). Congratulations to Nipper, Milesy, Ronnie, Footy, Willow and Jason who maintain their positions and a warm welcome to Wimple, Andy Timmers, Matso & Captain Crunch who also join the executive.
